5 free facilities to be provided by IDBI to its customers for depositing cash per month. From 1st of July, 2021 IDBI customers will get 10% discount on ₹10,000-24,999 balance for all months in a year. Further, customers will have to pay only ₹5/cheque leaf after 20 leaves per year.
Charges revised by IDBI bank, this friday:
IDBI revised its Cheque leaves charges, locker charges and savings Account Charges, this friday. From now onwards, IDBI bank customers have to pay ₹5 per cheque leaf after 20 free leaves per year. Presently customers can access 60 leaves in the first year of account opening without paying any charges. They can further use 50 leaves in all the subsequent years.
However, IDBI announced that customers holding “Sabka Saving Account” will not come under this preview. They will get unlimited cheque leaves in a year. Bank will revise the charges for the first week of July.
Cash Deposition and Savings Account facilities:
In case of cash deposit, IDBI bank has decreased the free facility per month. Semi-urban branches free cash deposit facility decreased to 5 from 7. Rural branches free cash deposit facilities downgraded to 5 instead of 10.
IDBI has also decreased the free transaction limit in Savings plus account. The free transactions in Semi-urban and rural branches will be 8 instead of 10 and 12 respectively.
JubleePlus Senior citizen account holders will not get any discount on locker rent if their monthly balance is below ₹10,000. With the revised rules, customer will get 10% discount on ₹10,000-24,999 balance for all 12 months and 15% discount on ₹25,000 and above.
Presently bank is providing 25% discount on locker rent if ₹5,000 is maintained as such in all the four quarters. The same revised charges will be applicable on Supershakti Woemn’s account for locker rent. Bank will offer a discount only on A and B size lockers.
Besides this, the institution has also cut down the number of free transactions from other bank ATMs per month for JubileePlus and Supershakti accounts to 5 transactions.
